Principal's Message

Dear friends,
St. John Bosco (1815-1888), through God’s intervention and inspiration, established the Society of St. Francis de Sales (Salesian Society) for the work of evangelization and education. He had a predilection to work for the disadvantaged youth of his time and more particularly the abandoned street children. Don Bosco developed teaching methods based on love rather than punishment, a method that became known as the Salesian Preventive System. Don Bosco School(English Medium), Krishnanagar is an institution that is aimed at promoting this vision of St. John Bosco, thereby spreading his mission of preparing dutiful citizens who will transform the society as a better world to live in. Cheerfulness, Love of God, Holiness of life and Discipline are essential aspects of the philosophy of St. John Bosco’s educative system. Don Bosco School Krishnanagar is a place where ‘excellence in education’ is promoted through all-round formation that is taking place here. From its inception, being a part of this institution is a much desired goal of many parents and children. We are now witnessing the steady growth of this institution which will eventually have the pride of place in our hearts.
